Kaitlyn Rankin, Julia Patelli and Amelia Oikawa wrote The Walk of the World in early 2016, at the age of 13. They wrote it to take action in our world and follow their dreams, and a message so often told to today's youth: You can make a difference. Kaitlyn is a grade nine student currently attending Kingston Collegiate and Vocational Institute (KCVI). She loves visual art, playing hockey, learning and to read.

Julia is also in grade nine, but goes to the school Loyalist Collegiate and Vocational Institute (LCVI). She loves to act, cook, most sports and to try new things.

Amelia also attends LCVI in grade nine. Amelia likes all art forms, to learn new things in all areas and is always there to lend a helping hand to anyone.
